What you’ll be responsible for –
- Assessing and monitoring patient conditions
- Checking symptoms and vital signs and arranging diagnostic tests
- Plan, deliver and evaluate standards of evidence-based nursing care.
- Recognising deterioration in the physical or mental condition of a patient and taking appropriate action / escalation
- Recognising, responding to, and managing emergency situations
- Displaying excellent analytical ability and sound decision making in changing clinical situations
- Recognising limitations and escalating concerns
- · Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and agencies ensuring a seamless delivery of services for patients
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.
You’ll have the following qualification/experience:
· A minimum of 6 months paid experience as a Registered Nurse working in an acute setting the last 3 years.
· Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices.
· Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines.
· Undertake regular mandatory training*
· Hold a valid UK driving licence.
In addition to experience, all Registered Nurse roles will be required to provide evidence of
- Statement of NMC Registration
- Degree /Diploma in Nursing
