An exciting opportunity has arisen at Macclesfield Supported Living Network, where we support individuals in their own home who have a learning disability. Working in partnership with individuals and families to provide individualised and person-centred care to those using our service.
Support with all aspects of daily living including medication and money management to remain independent whilst using the service.

Permanent Community Night Support Worker 30 hours per week, located at Macclesfield Supported Living Network
Providing support over a 24-hour period, focused on maximising people's independence, choice, and control. We work in partnership with the individual, parents and families and a range of other services to ensure that people's choices, aspirations, and preferences are reflected in how their service is provided.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills, be able to work as a member of a team but also possess the skills necessary to work on their own initiative. You must have the right values, be friendly and have a positive approach, previous experience is not necessary as full induction training will be given. There is a requirement to be flexible, to be part of a rota which comprises working weekends, bank holidays, and the night shift is from 10pm-8am.
Support provided consists of all aspects of daily living (personal care, food preparation, administration of medication and managing finances).
The service operates over 24 hours. Starting pay £12.18 per hour up to £12.38 with time and half at weekends, and all Bank Holidays except Xmas Day and Boxing Day which are double pay.
