Post Title: Community Works Operative 4 (Other)

Location: Inverness
Hours: 37 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £24,935 - £27,436 p.a.
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

JobPurpose: To work as part of a team, to carry out all duties involved with managing incoming and outgoing waste(s) at the Transfer Station. Work with various plant equipment to load trailers, push waste products into appropriate bunkers, direct traffic, manage to a high degree Health and Safety Standard, collaborate and work with third party vendors and complete required administrative duties. Some manual lifting will be involved. Other duties will include plant checks, required routine maintenance, housekeeping, grounds keeping, and building checks and maintenance issues.

Requirements

Must have Scottish National Fours or Fives or equivalent.
