Resuscitation Practitioner (Band 6)
Location: Central London
Employment: Full-term, permanent (Monday – Friday)
Flexible Working Options:
- 5 days a week (40 hrs a week)
- 4 days a week (32 hrs a week)
Salary:
- 5 days a week: £45,000 - £50,000 per year
- 4 days a week: £36,000 - £40,000 per year

Role overview:
As a Resuscitation Practitioner, you’ll play a crucial role in clinical emergencies, providing leadership and mentoring, and participating in acute clinical shifts.
- Remain clinically acute by participating in external acute clinical shifts
- Take a leadership role in clinical emergencies within the unit
- Use ALS instructor status to develop resuscitation skills within the team
- Ensure ALS/ILS staff comply with RCUK requirements through monthly assessments
- Oversee and document emergency system checks, ensuring accuracy
- Deliver robust clinical skills training
The Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience as a registered Nurse, Operating Department Practitioner or Paramedic working with the unwell adult
- Experience with managing/participating in cardiac arrests and medical emergencies
- Nurses with an A&E or Resuscitation background are highly desirable
