Montessori Practitioner

We have a great opportunity for a Montessori Practitioner to join a wonderful setting in the Hounslow area. This nursery offers the highest quality childcare from 3 months to 5 years with a nurturing and stimulating environment from a purpose-built setting, with on-site chefs preparing healthy seasonal menus.
They provide children with a secure and happy, learning environment where they can awake their natural curiosity and interests, and develop manipulative skills. As a Montessori Practitioner, you will encourage the children to become self-confident as they gain their own independence and learn to communicate and display self-control.

This is a 30- 40 hours per week role worked over a minimum of 4 days.
Responsibilities:

• Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development
• Communicate regularly with parents and carers about their child s progress, achievements, and areas for further work
• Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met
• Facilitate a strong key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments
• Assist the children to develop social skills through group activities and lessons, promoting respect, empathy, and collaboration

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Full and relevant Montessori qualification
• Previous experience of working in a childcare setting
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements
