About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Paediatric Site Practitioner to join an esteemed team at a premier private hospital specialising in women's and children's healthcare. As a Paediatric Site Practitioner you will provide round-the-clock support, managing acutely unwell and deteriorating paediatric patients, and coordinating with HDU/PICU as necessary.
In this role, you will:
- Maintain a visible clinical presence, acting as a role model and expert practitioner.
- Utilise advanced nursing skills to coordinate resources and collaborate with on-site Duty Managers.
- Support the PICU step-down process and bed allocation.
- Be part of the Paediatric Hospital at Night Team, ensuring timely patient care.
Requirements
- NMC RN Child qualification
- Experience in HDU/Critical Care
- Paediatric Physical Assessment Skills
- Current APLS/EPALS provider
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
