Our Sunbury based client requires a Company Accountant to join their team on a 6 month contract. Great benefits including a salary up to £60,000, flexi-time, generous holiday entitlement and perk box benefits.
Working within a friendly and supportive team, the Company Accountant will support the business as they move to a new ERP system.
Job Purpose / Objectives:
To provide monthly Management accounts for the UK. To process and manage credit control as well as all UK payroll
Company Accountant
- Preparation of management accounts in a timely and accurate manner
- Monitor cash flow and banking
- Support in cost of sales monthly reporting, analysis and periodic stock takes.
- Budgets and forecasting
- Variance analysis including KPI’s
- File quarterly Vat returns
- Support GFD – cover Group Management accounts when required
Credit Control:
- Sales Ledger (invoicing, allocating cash, month end, working with customers to confirm payment)
- Bank reconciliation
- Letters of credit
- Applications for credit reference
- Petty Cash
- Banking
Employees:
- Payroll for weekly & monthly staff
- Reconciliation of HMRC and Pension balance sheet accounts
Cost and Efficiency:
- Identify and take actions when targets are not being met and waste is evident..
- Work with team to suggest improvements to improve process flow and efficiency
Lean CI:
- Support the company continuous improvement activities and data capture; participate and encourage idea generation.
You must be a self starter who is able to work independently and hit the ground running.
