With a strong track record of success and a commitment to innovation, our client is seeking a talented Company Accountant to join their dynamic team and drive their financial operations forward.
Role Overview: In this pivotal role, the Company Accountant will be number 1 in finance and will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities within the organization. With a focus on VAT management, cash flow analysis, management accounts preparation, and utilization of Sage software, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to be hands-on and deeply involved in the day-to-day operations of the business.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit VAT returns accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasts to support strategic decision-making and ensure financial stability.
• Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, providing valuable insights to support business growth.
• Utilize Sage software proficiently to streamline financial processes and enhance reporting capabilities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified ACCA/CIMA or ACA, or qualified by significant experience in a similar role.
• Stability and a desire for long-term tenure with a reputable company are highly valued.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in using Sage software is essential.
