We are working with a very well-established multi-office regional law firm who are looking to attract an experienced Company Commercial / Commercial Contracts / Employment Paralegal to join their renowned Company Commercial Department at their modern head office on the outskirts of Coventry. Free parking is available on site.
This is a full time permanent job working 9am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday and is office-based.
The role is offered with a high level of commitment to training and development, with progression to a training contract in the longer term if desired. Salary will reflect experience and qualifications.
The role will involve
- Handling a straight forward caseload (following training where applicable).
- Supporting a busy Company Commercial team who deal with
- business and company acquisitions and disposals
- company restructuring and reorganisation
- dealing with shareholder issues
- advising on finance and banking arrangements
- contract negotiations
- drafting contracts including contracts of employment
- dealing with Terms and Conditions
- providing advice on intellectual property protection
- Advising clients on internet trading laws
Suitable candidates will have:
- A minimum of 12 months’ experience within corporate or commercial contracts work
- Previous experience of employment law/contracts (desirable but not essential)
- Excellent communication skills
- A desire to progress your career within the company commercial field
