Compliance Administrator

Reed are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing company based in Chelmsford, who are looking for a Compliance Administrator to join their team.

The main crux of the role will be to assist the Export Compliance Manager in maintaining customer data and ensure compliance is in line with legislation

Hours: Monday to Friday - 8am- 4.30pm, early finish on a Friday (hybrid role 2 days at home)

Salary: up to £28,500k per annum

Main duties to include:

• Obtain, check and store relevant documents for all exports not just controlled exports
• Obtain, check and store original consignee undertakings and end user undertakings
• Weekly hold checks
• Upon licence approval download documents, update log and Oracle hold
• Add licence detail to Oracle
• Complete Chelmsford shipping documents first sign off
• Document and maintain export processes
• Provide instructions for couriers/ freight forwarders

Skills needed

Strong administration and customer service is essential

Ability to work online systems to a high standard

Compliance background is desirable
