Exciting opportunity as a Compliance and H&S Administrator - BOURNE END
Our client is a leading contractor in the public & private sector and is currently looking for a Compliance and Health & Safety Administrator to join their team. In this role, you will work closely with our H&S Director and Bid Manager to ensure that all compliance, accreditation, and administration processes are robust and provide concise and timely document controls with HSE and other legislative updates, as advised by the Director. You will also assist with presentation documents and ad-hoc tasks, and occasionally visit our construction sites to assist with audit and project reviews.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the administration of compliance programs and processes
- Maintain controlled document register and associated document updates under guidance of the H&S Director and Bid Manager
- Support applications for new and existing accreditations by gathering documented evidence
- Assist in preparation of reports and presentation documents on an ad-hoc basis
- Provide general administrative support to the H&S, HR and Bid Teams
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a health & safety or compliance department
- Experience and proficient in using Microsoft Office / 365 packages, including PowerPoint
- Familiarity with pdf editing software and web interfaces
Skills / Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- A/level education standard desired, or relevant experience
- GCSE English / Maths minimum requirement
