Compliance Monitoring Manager

Miryco Consultants are working with a renowned Insurer who are looking for a Compliance Monitoring Manager to join their company.

Responsibilities:

• Developing the Financial Crime and Market Abuse elements of the annual Compliance Monitoring Plan, using a range of assessment tools to ensure a risk-based approach that provides appropriate coverage of the key risks the business is exposed to.
• End-to-end design and delivery of Compliance monitoring, with a focus on market conduct and financial crime risks, including assurance over the accuracy and completeness of regulatory reporting.
• Performing validation and reconciliation exercises to provide assurance over key business and Compliance processes.
• Drafting monitoring reports which summarise findings.
• Carrying out internal 4-eyes checks and quality assurance.

Required:

• Demonstrable relevant experience in a Compliance Monitoring role.
• Extensive subject matter expertise in financial crime and market abuse risks.
• Experience carrying out assurance over regulatory reporting, particularly in relation to EMIR, SFTR and Financial Crime/Sanctions reporting.
