Compliance Officer - Insurance - Hybrid working - London, City
Hybrid working - 1-2 days per week working in offices in the City of London and the remainder remotely
Our Client, a consultancy specialising in the Insurance Market are looking for a Compliance Officer to join them
Key responsibilities:-
- To prepare, manage and maintain all company policies and procedures in liaison with Management. To include Information Security, Cyber, Data Protectins, internal employment policies and procedures
- to assist with Sarbanes Oxley process reviews and documentation
- To own certification processes including SOC 2 Type II processes and controls, Cyber, client vendor assessments
- To review and maintain risk register
- To maintain register of all company licences, expiry dates and renewals
- Regular documented reviews of all company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements to include formal sign off
- Responsible for handling customer questionnaires and compliance audits in timely fashion
- Prepare and host regular company updates and training regarding policy updates
- Review and share appropriate regulatory and legal updates
Skills / Experience required:-
- Previous experience working in Financial Services (preferably Insurance) is highly desirable
- Previous experience working as a Compliance Officer
- Legal compliance
- Research skills
- Auditing
