Main purpose of role:
To manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and to work with different departments to ensure that Training is at a state of Compliance for the site.
Main responsibilities:
The candidate/ employee will be responsible for:
  • Issuing relevant documentation e.g.: Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Work Instructions, Policies, Competency Assessments, Exams, Quizzes, and Courses.
  • Creating E-Learning packages with departmental Subject Matter Experts (SME), reducing the need for written documentation.
  • Creating and delivering Training Modules in line with knowledge requirements.
  • Managing the system to ensure all staff have been allocated the correct department, allocated the correct job codes per managements request, allocated the correct line manager, and are trained to use the LMS.
  • Working proactively with departments to ensure curriculums are in line with current practices.
  • Ensuring new staff are using the learning management system competently.
  • Logging the attendance for staff training on the LMS.
  • Working proactively with departments to ensure on the job training is being recorded appropriately.
  • Supporting the Quality Department with self-inspections.
  • Ensuring training records are always “Audit Ready”.
  • Supporting the site on Client/Regulatory audits as the SME for the Training on site.
  • Updating and generation of reports to aid towards audit queries and site requirements.
  • Actively seek to improve the Training Metrics at Tredegar.
  • Continuously Improve our customer service metrics.
  • Continuously improve Training and compliance for the Tredegar Site.
Work Experience & Skills Required
Essential
  • Excellent experience in Administration
  • Good ICT skills, particularly in Microsoft Packages
Desirable
  • Extra-curricular activities
Qualifications:
Essential
  • Minimum 5 GCSE qualifications, including English and Maths
Desirable
  • BTEC Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Ability to remain calm in difficult situations

  • Ability to manage time effectively and deliver a high standard of work.
