Key accountabilities:
Support the SM&CR lead with:
- Maintaining all required SM&CR records including Statement of Responsibilities, Reasonable Steps and Management Responsibility Maps to ensure they remain up to date
- Quality and timely SM&CR regulatory submissions and timely responses to any SM&CR regulatory requests
- The production of SM&CR management information for relevant Boards and Committees
- Liaison with internal and external parties to assist with the delivery of compliant SM&CR processes and to support relevant role holders
- The review and maintenance of internal SM&CR documents and templates
- The identification of process improvements/simplification to help achieve a great customer experience
- The interpretation of SM&CR regulatory rules and guidance and delivery of any SM&CR regulatory changes
Skills & experience:
- Knowledge of relevant financial services regulation and legislation
- Ability to interpret regulatory and legal requirements
- Development of specialist knowledge areas
- Understanding of relevant policies, procedures and systems.
- Good knowledge and experience of financial services, a Compliance/Risk/Legal function.
- Previous experience of managing regulatory processes
- Good communication skills
