Are you passionate about teaching Computer Science to young learners? Do you have the skills and experience to inspire them to pursue a career in the digital world? If so, you might be the perfect candidate for the role of Teacher of Computer Science at a Leicester-based sixth form college.
The college is looking for a qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Computer Science to join their team after Easter. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that cover the curriculum and preparing students for their exams. You will also be expected to contribute to the development of the department and participate in extracurricular activities.
To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field
• A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience of teaching Computer Science at KS5 level
• A strong knowledge of programming languages, such as Python, Java etc.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
• A DBS check or willingness to obtain one
