Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Computer Science Teacher for a long term, temporary role within a large Secondary School in Eastleigh. This cover role is set to start Easter 2024 through to the end of the academic year.

The school is a large secondary school, with an ambitious ethos based on high expectations for all. Their students are proud of their academic and wider achievements, having a belief in their own success and ability to succeed which continues beyond our school with a high percentage of students excelling at local colleges and, at further and higher education.

As the Computer Science Teacher, you will be responsible for the learning journeys of the pupils within your assigned classes, keeping them safe and ensuring good engagement with the lesson delivery and behaviour management. You will encourage the attainment of your pupils and aim for them to do their very best. You will report to the Head of Department, and have a good support system when required, and will work well with the rest of the department. 

The salary for this role is currently set at £130-200 per day, and is a full time, temporary role on a long-term basis, ending July 2024. There may also be a possibility of a permanent vacancy for the right candidate.

For this role, you will be/will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status and a degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
- Right to work in the UK
- Ability to work on a full-time basis from Easter 2024 to the end of the academic year
