An 'Outstanding' and supportive Secondary School in the Borough of Lewisham are on the hunt for a Computer Science Teacher / ECT for a September 2024 start. This is a full time and permanent post.
The current Computer Science Head of Department has helped the Computer Science Department grow from strength to strength. They've now got a perfect mix of young, experienced and Teach First Teachers. This is alongside multiple Computer Science graduate Teaching Assistants who help raise attainment across KS3,4 & 5.
This Secondary School has produced some incredible Progress 8 results across KS3,4 & 5 and have created a fun and creative learning environment for students.
Experienced Computer Science Teachers can take on a TLR such as KS3 & KS4 Coordinator, Pastoral Responsibility and more.
Newly Qualified Computer Science Teachers (ECT) will be enrolled onto the schools very own bespoke ECT induction, as well as work alongside a range of young & experienced Computer Science Teachers.

- MPS1-UPS3 - £36,745 - £56,959 + TLR (Size depending on experience)
- Located in the Borough of Lewisham
PERSON SPECIFICATION - COMPUTER SCIENCE TEACHER / ECT
- Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
- Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
- Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
- You must be able to work as part of a large team of Computer Science Teachers
- Must be willing to listen to feedback
