Responsibilities:

Teach students fundamental programming languages, algorithms, data structures, and computational thinking.

Introduce students to various aspects of Computer Science, such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and robotics.

Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects, and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and ensure alignment with educational standards.

Stay up-to-date with advancements in Computer Science education and integrate relevant technologies and tools into the classroom.

Encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities, such as coding clubs or competitions, and provide guidance as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Teaching certification or license in Computer Science or a relevant subject area.

Proven experience in teaching Computer Science at the secondary level.

In-depth knowledge of programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C++, and their practical application.

Familiarity with Computer Science frameworks, tools, and platforms commonly used in education.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and motivate students.

Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Demonstrated commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities.
