UE07 £37,099 to £44,263 per annum (A revised salary range for this grade of £39,347 to £46,974 is planned to take effect from Spring 2024) College of Science & Engineering / School of Engineering Full-time: 35 hours per week Open ended contract: permanent The Opportunity: This is primarily a general Linux infrastructure system admin and software development role, covering a wide range of activities including contributing to the identification, design and implementation of infrastructure projects and improvements, working as part of the Engineering IT Team. You'll play a critical role in the evolution of our computing infrastructure and software development practices. You'll also get the chance to enhance your skills and knowledge in server-side computing infrastructure, automation, asset tracking, and research computing, among others. The successful applicant will have existing knowledge and/or experience in more than one of these areas and will be keen to develop and grow in a varied and challenging environment.
