A new opportunity has arisen to join us at Barnfield College Luton as part of the teaching team in Computing.
We are looking for an inspirational and enthusiastic teacher who is current in knowledge, skills and forward thinking with technology. You will demonstrate a positive and motivational approach to the learning experience for students to enhance their future career prospects within the industry.
You will teach a range of subjects to students 16-19, level 1-3. The successful applicant will be proactive and motivational in their approach, have up to date industry knowledge, and prepared to teach a across a range of computing disciplines.
You will be confident in developing engaging and interactive learning materials to stimulate a diverse range of students with differing needs.
You will be will student focused, provide pastoral care and be a strong role model for our students. You will have an ability to promote, support and embed English and maths skills within planning and delivery of all teaching.
A relevant degree is a requirement and a teaching qualification and/or industry experience is desirable, although full training to obtain this will be provided.
