- Location: Poole
- Hours: Standard hours of work will be 47.5 hours per week, between 06.30 – 16.30 Monday – Friday with daily overtime required to ensure correct daily shutdown of the plant, and 2 out of 4 Saturday morning 07:00 – 12:00 paid at overtime rate.
- Salary: £14 hourly

The Role:
We are looking for a Concrete Plant Supervisor who we can train and develop into running their own Concrete Plant.
Duties will include:
- Operating the Concrete Plant and ensuring all concrete is batched to comply with the BSI standard and guidance as specified by the technical department.
- Liaising with the concrete transport planner to ensure loads are batched in a timely manner.
- To effectively operate a batching plant to the standards required by the company using laid down procedures
- To ensure the site, plant, buildings and equipment are kept in a clean and tidy condition and to maintain security at all times
- To receive customer’s enquiries and orders in a polite and courteous manner, maintaining the company image to the highest standard
- To ensure that the companies cash sale procedure is fully complied with and that all transactions are fully reconciled and receipted before handing over to colleagues for banking
- To maintain accurate materials/stock dates as required
- To ensure that all technical testing required for the production of concrete at the plant is carried out to the correct standards and timescales
- To ensure all visitors sign the visitors section of plant inspection sheet and undertake to comply whilst on site with all our procedures and legislative requirements at all times
- To maintain awareness/ compliance with the company’s health and safety and environmental policies and communicate perceived/ known no conformances immediately to the appropriate department head.
To ensure that the Company’s activities comply with legislation and regulation concerning Health, Safety and Welfare, Quarry Regulations, Environmental and Quality control the role will be required to learn, understand and adhere to all policies and procedures.
