Job description

THE ROLE:This heavy industry manufacture has a large maintenance team supported by a strong asset management departmentYou will be responsible for carrying out a variety of mechanical testing and analysis on all the equipment on site ensuring preventative solutions are employed before serious mechanical failures.Duties will include:Condition MonitoringVibration analysis.Oil analysis.Wear monitoring.THE CANDIDATE:-The ideal candidate will have relevant "reliability" experience and ideally a background using mechanical skills within a manufacturing environment (mechanical qualification / apprenticeship ideal).You will have previously carried out similar testing. As reporting is a key part of your analysis process you will be required to proficiently use various MS Office programmes including: Word, Excel, and Access.*Candidates with combined experience in maintenance / fitting and a level 3 qualification may be considered for a higher salary role up to £42kBENEFITS:-Days shift Mon - Thu - 08.00 -16.30 (15.30 on Friday) -39 hrs p/wSalary: £35,000 (to £40,000 with level 3 mechanical qual)Holidays: 25 Days + Bank HolsContributory Pension matched up to 8%This position would suit candidates with he previous title of: Condition Monitoring Technician, Condition Monitoring Engineer, Mechanical Technician, Mechanical test Technician, Reliability Technician, Reliability Engineer, Mechanical Engineer.
