Reporting to: Head of Financial Services and Consumer

Location: Blackfriars, John Carpenter House

Hybrid: 1 day in the office, 4 days at home

Salary: Up to GBP55k (DOE)

The Role:
Arena International (url removed) part of GlobalData Plc produces c 20+ market leading international conferences, 100 webinars/digital meetings & private networking events annually across the Financial Services and Consumer sectors with an ambitious plan to scale up the events and portfolios.

We are seeking a highly experienced producer with strong research, analytical and junior team management experience to lead on our current portfolio of conferences. You will be responsible for producing and managing events from conception right up to programme management on the day and will include working with all stakeholders internal and external. The role will also require you to lead and manage a high performing team of conference producers to plan and deliver the programme of commercial conferences in the UK, and internationally. You will be required to regularly travel internationally for each conference.

Our requirements:

- 4+ years of conference production experience gained in a commercial B2B organisation.

- Exceptional research skills, agenda writing, speaker acquisition and event project management experience

- Experience of producing and growing annual events as well as launching new events

- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to spot gaps in the market for new products

- First class communicator with gravitas and influence able to gain credibility and trust at senior levels both internally and externally.

- Knowledge, understanding and an interest in Financial Services and Consumer markets.

- At least 18 months experience in managing junior producers.

- Willing and able to work flexible hours and travel within UK and abroad.
