We’re looking for an experienced Conference Producer to join the events team of a successful and growing FinTech firm. Finance/investment industry knowledge is highly advantageous. This is a varied events role that incorporates conference programming, speaker recruitment, content delivery, event operations and the overall project management of the event. As part of the events team, the Conference Producer will help to develop, nurture and expand the programme of in-person and online events.
The job:
- Working as part of the London based events team you will deliver and grow a programme of alternative data events for investment management and Investment firms.
- The events are delivered both in-person and online
- You would personally produce and project manage around 4 events each year (from 300+ delegates / 30+ speakers). The events are varied, held in the
- Responsible for research, programming, and event operations
- Identify and recruit senior level speakers across all your events
- Work with the marketing function to share insight into the outreach strategy to support event growth
- Collaborative communication with all internal and external stakeholders
- Develop strategic relationships with key suppliers
- Provide new compelling topic and event ideas
The person
- 3+ year’s event production experience gained in a commercial b2b conference organisation
- Exceptional research, agenda writing, speaker recruitment, event project management skills (this role has event operations responsibilities)
- Confident and professional stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge, understanding and an interest in financial services and investment management
- Exceptional organisational and multi-tasking skills
- Strong MS Office skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Educated to Degree/ MA level
- Happy to travel to events

They have created a successful portfolio of commercial B2B events that have been well received and attended by industry leaders. Their growing team of ambitious, collaborative people work from 3 international Locations - London (HQ), New York and Asia. The events team is 5 people and they work closely with the other internal teams in the business.
