Description
- Perform conflict checks for both new and existing clients
- Actively communicate with team members to discuss and resolve potential conflicts
- Maintain up-to-date records of all conflict checks and resolutions
- Work closely with the legal department to develop strategies for conflict management
- Provide advice and guidance to team members on conflict management
- Assist in training staff on conflict detection and resolution techniques
- Regularly review and update company policies on conflict management
- Adhere to all legal and company regulations and guidelines related to conflict management
Profile
A successful 'Conflicts Analyst' should have:
- A thorough understanding of Conflicts regulations under the SRA
- Demonstratable experience of conducting conflicts checks within a law firm, analysing results and escalating to managers when necessary
- Proficiency in conflict management and resolution techniques
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- A degree in Law or a related field
