Conservation And Design Officer

Essential Requirements - Qualification Degree or Diploma in Planning, Conservation, Design or related discipline. Current Valid Driving Licence   

The Role:

The Conservation and Design Officer is a key specialist role in our busy Development Management Team. Working as the principal advisor on design, Conservation and heritage related matters, the role will be varied and rewarding due to the rich heritage of the Borough.

Bolton is progressing exciting major regeneration projects.  The successful candidate will play a key role in influencing these development projects as part of the planning team together with the assessment, review and management of Bolton’s Conservation Areas and the Local List of Heritage Assets.

About You:

An experienced professional working in a conservation or design role with a passion for improving places and conserving heritage.

A team player, able to support the work of the wider planning service to achieve positive outcomes whilst highlighting the importance of Conservation and heritage in the Borough.
