Construction Apprentice

We are currently recruiting for a Construction Apprentice to support, assist and complete repair and maintenance jobs on Valleys to Coast Group properties, located across Bridgend.

The overall purpose of the apprenticeship is for you to gain valuable experience whilst learning on the job and attain the qualifications

needed to become a fully qualified tradesperson. You will work 4 days a week with Llanw, alongside an experienced trade colleague as your mentor. The remaining 1 day a week you will attend Bridgend College, Pencoed Campus, to study the appropriate level 2 or 3 qualification. Apprenticeship disciplines available consist of level 2 multi-trade (carpentry, bricklaying, electrical and plumbing) or level 3 electrical engineering depending on course entry requirements.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, committed to attend college and a good communicator with the ability to listen and follow instruction and be able to communicate well with your mentor, team, customers and all parties involved in any work you complete.

Pay is dependent on age according to the HMRC Apprentice Rates.
