Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities as a Construction Graduate:
The construction department is responsible for managing the construction process from receipt of working drawings from the technical department through to the delivery of homes and commercial property to the end user.
The most suitable candidates for roles in this department tend to have degrees in construction management. Others have also studies construction engineering or civil and structural engineering.
- Managing the preparation and set up of the site prior to construction
- Co-ordinating contractors working on site
- Ensuring the product is built on time to the desired quality standards
- Taking responsibility for site health and safety issues and sustainability issues
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proactive, self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook
