Key Responsibilities as a Construction Graduate:
The construction department is responsible for managing the construction process from receipt of working drawings from the technical department through to the delivery of homes and commercial property to the end user.
The most suitable candidates for roles in this department tend to have degrees in construction management. Others have also studies construction engineering or civil and structural engineering.
Managing the preparation and set up of the site prior to construction
Co-ordinating contractors working on site
Ensuring the product is built on time to the desired quality standards
Taking responsibility for site health and safety issues and sustainability issues
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Proactive, self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook
Keen to deliver exceptional customer service
Credible, and comfortable in dealing with a wide variety of stakeholders
