Graduate Quantity Surveyor required in West London
GVR Solutions are currently representing a well-established Specialist Restoration contractor, based in West London, who due to natural progression and company expansion they are seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.
As a company they provide a range of restoration services which includes special works, façade cleaning & Restoration, Conservation and new build masonry works to the Heritage sector in London.
Graduate Quantity Surveyor roles and responsibilities:
- Assist in tendering process at all stages
- Sub-contract Tendering
- Cost Control
- Cost reporting
- Liaise with all Internal teams
- Attend projects meetings
- Assist with procurement
- Final Accounts
The Graduate Quantity Surveyor must have/be:
- Holds/Studying a Quantity Surveying degree or Construction Management degree
- Previous Quantity Surveying experience with a contractor is desirable but not essential
- Relevant IT Skills
- Excellent oral communication and written skills
- A good knowledge of Maths
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
- Confident, Articulate and a critical thinker
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Willing to undertake training and development when needed.
