We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a construction / engineering background to join a well-established and successful engineering inspections company.
You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of inspections whilst maintaining compliance with ISO 17020 and UKAS accreditation standards.
General Duties (not an exhaustive list)
- Operational Management – manage the day-to-day operations of the Engineer Surveyors
- Compliance & Accreditation – maintain a thorough understanding of LOLER, PSSR, COSHH, PUWER, and other relevant regulations
- Team Leadership
- Client Relations – serve as a key contact for clients and collaborate with the sales and business development teams
- Health & Safety – champion a safety-first culture and implement / enforce safety protocols and risk assessments
Criteria
- Bachelors degree, HNC/HND or equivalent in Engineering field
- Proven experience in Operations Management, preferably in the Engineering Inspection industry
- Proactive mindset with a focus on Continuous Improvement
- Full UK driving license due to travel within the role
