The Role: As a Construction Product Design Instructor, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging lessons that integrate construction principles with PRODUCT DESIGN concepts. From architectural drafting and materials selection to project management and sustainable design, you will guide students through the entire process of bringing their ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching construction and PRODUCT DESIGN principles to secondary students.
- Developing and implementing hands-on projects and activities that reinforce learning objectives.
- Providing individualized support and feedback to students as they work on design projects.
- Collaborating with colleagues to incorporate construction and design concepts into cross-curricular activities.
- Organizing field trips and guest speaker events to enhance students' understanding of the industry.
- Experience working in the construction industry, with a focus on PRODUCT DESIGN and innovation.
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and building codes.
- Previous experience teaching or mentoring students in a secondary school setting.
- Proficiency in design software and technology relevant to the field.
