We are currently seeking a Construction Team Administrator for a 1-year maternity contract with one of the largest developers in the county. Based in Guildford, this role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside industry professionals and make a significant contribution to their projects.
Role Responsibilities:
Support the Construction Director and contract managers in administrative tasks.
Handle HR administrative duties such as onboarding, off-hiring, reviews, and apprenticeships.
Manage site issues and coordinate with teams to ensure smooth operations.
Assist with procurement activities, including purchasing sundries for site, IT, and mobile phone contracts.
Take care of expenses for the management team.
Help organise events and functions.
Collect and collate data for reports required by the senior leadership team.
Requirements:
Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in the construction industry.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
Proactive and self-driven attitude, ready to tackle challenges and think on your feet.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of HR processes and practices is advantageous.
Working Conditions:
This role offers flexible working arrangements, including the possibility of a mix of remote work and office-based work.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with an early finish at 4:30 pm on Fridays.
