Consultant Psychiatrist
Our well-established client are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to cover one of the located areas, Annesley Nottinghamshire, Blackburn Lancashire, Stockton on the Forest, to join their friendly team on a Full time - Permanent basis with a salary of £160,000 - £160,050.
Job Overview
Located in Annesley Nottinghamshire, 28-bedded specialist acute and psychiatric intensive care service for female patients.
We offer individualised care packages for patients. We specialise in managing behaviours that lead to distress, which is supported by a strong team of psychologists and occupational therapists. Our multidisciplinary team specialises in positive behavioural support planning, to help patients in managing and developing new strategies to improve their distress and trauma.
Located in Blackburn Lancashire, provides low secure and rehabilitation and recovery services to 90 male patients.
We strive to provide high quality care to all of our patients and received a rating of Outstanding in all five areas by the CQC in August 2019. Our treatments are recovery focused and provides by an experienced multidisciplinary team. We offer a range of specific therapeutic programs and a range of occupational therapy activities both hospital and community based.

Located in Stockton on the Forest, 112 bedded, medium secure hospital in the beautiful City of York. We are an independent sector hospital. We exclusively treat NHS patients and work closely with our NHS colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for our patients. We are active members of our local Provider Collaborative.
Main Responsibilities
The main responsibilities as Consultant Psychiatrists, you will be required to lead your MDT to provide High quality care.
The ward is proficient at nursing patients in a severe phase of their mental health illness, and it integrates current best practice to promote recovery.
Experienced team in managing high levels of patient distress, which allows our ward to admit from vast clinical settings including other mental health inpatients wards, and accident and emergency departments.
Skills Required
- Able to fulfil the role of Responsible Clinician to patients.
- You must hold a CCT, or equivalent, in Forensic Psychiatry, Learning Disability or General Psychiatry.
- Meet regulatory requirements, such as GMC registration and revalidation.
