Consulting Director - Insurance CIO Advisory

Having done £25m in the UK across insurance in 2023, £120+ globally, this up and coming consulting brand is at an exciting point in its development and is offering a Senior Manager/ Director the chance to lead and run insurance accounts and become part of the UK leadership team. 

Our client is a technology consulting powerhouse, with over 5000 consultants globally and a reputation for exceptional technology consulting delivery. They are famous for delivering a mix of advisory and delivery style engagements across the CIO landscape - their biggest areas of expertise are cyber, cloud and digital transformation.

Insurance has seen big growth lately and this senior hire will have a central role in the growth of the UK business. We are looking at a 70:30 split between delivery and BD, though they are flexible for the right person.

With a global model, the firm is on many insurance PSLs already; in the UK they have accounts across AXA, Aviva, L&G, Phoenix and QBE to name a few. One example is an account that did £15m last year with a large cloud transformation engagement, IT Operating model redesign, cost model work and automation key themes. 

We're looking for an insurance specialist that can bring a top delivery record and ideally some of their own network to the business. With 250 people in the UK, this firm has a 'boutique' feel whilst having the infrastructure of a global business. 

We are looking for:

1. Account management or 'land and expand' experience in insurance technology transformation engagements

2. Motivated consultants looking for leadership roles and to grow with a company

3. Humility and ability to work in a 'flat structure' style - this is very different to the Big 4

4. Experience as a programme lead or account lead on multiple engagements across one client 

5. 2-3 days in London per week - this would likely not suit someone who cannot be physically in London each week

Salary range £120,000 to £170,000 base + 20-25% bonus
