Consumables Management Specialist - Technical Customer Services

Key point of contact working closely with end user customer contacts and internal teams, the Consumables Management Specialist are subject matter experts who are responsible for the utilisation of all end-to-end customer consumable related supply processes including defined alert to order fulfilment & exceptions processes, as well as troubleshooting exceptions related to Consumables Management.

Duties

· Reconcile information between various systems and client networks

· Liaising with Logistics, PMO and Sales departments to capture required information

· Liaising with clients to deploy monitoring software

· Managing areas of service agreements for strategic accounts based around the monitoring software

· Resolving offline DCAs and devices

· Daily reporting to key business stakeholders

· Creating ad-hoc deployment reports

· Managing areas of service agreements for strategic accounts based around the monitoring software

· Resolving offline DCAs and devices

· Daily reporting to key business stakeholders

Experience and Skills Required

1. Good time management and prevoius customer services expereince

2. Excellent communication skills

3. High level of accuracy and attention to detail

4. EKM software knowledge and experience, advantageous but not essential

5. Understanding of basic network terminology, e.g., network routing, IP addressing, basic DNS

6. Understanding of key protocols e.g. SMTP, SNMP,DNS,IPV4, Bonjour, SMB

7. Experience of a client focused helpdesk environment

8. Experience in utilising remote management tools to diagnose, investigate and resolve consumable consumption (preferred but not essential)

9. Ability to use Remote Access tools (TeamViewer, GoToAssist, Zoom) (preferred but not essential)

10. Ability to work under pressure to specific SLA’s, to prioritise and multitask

11. Excellent communication skills & telephone manner

12. Methodical with an aptitude for attention to detail

13. Able to work in a team as well as independently

14. Adaptable and flexible to changing demands
