• Salary guide: £40,000 - £80,000, depending on experience and a healthy annual bonus

Financially stable and going from strength to strength, they are now in a position where they can comfortably expand their offering and are looking to launch within the Consumer Finance space, which is why they are in search of a hugely ambitious Consumer Finance Manager to spearhead its launch and drive the department’s overall success and growth.

You’ll be given plenty of autonomy and, whilst you’ll be the driving force behind the department's launch and overall success, you will have the support of a fantastic senior team who have in-depth knowledge of the B2B and B2C finance sector and want you to succeed. Responsibilities:

• Launch the Consumer Finance section of the business, setting the department up from scratch and being at the forefront of its success
• Oversee all operational aspects of the department and ensure that every aspect is running smoothly and efficiently
• Develop and execute business plans and strategies that successfully expand the customer base and enhance brand awareness within the Consumer Finance space
• Identify areas for improvement and implement new processes and systems to enhance the customer journey
• Collaborate with the software team to support the development of software for consumer use
• Grow a successful team, which involves recruiting a motivated and ambitious TEAM; carrying our performance reviews; acting as a mentor for each team member; and proactively promoting high-performance teams
• Report to the senior management team, sharing insights on Consumer Finance activity, preparing in-depth reports, and highlighting areas of concern

Skills and Experience:

• Experience gained as Manager/Branch Manager/Head of Consumer Finance within the finance sector
• Possesses a good understanding of regulations surrounding Consumer Finance
• Demonstrates strong managerial skills and has a proven track record of growing and managing a successful and motivated team
• Commercially astute, confident developing and implementing in-depth business plans
• Confident implementing strategies that enhance the Consumer Finance offering and determine the department's overall success
• Dynamic and business-savvy, keen to establish a flourishing, fast-paced department
