The Contemporary Music Producer will work closely with the Director of Programming & Participation and the Festival Executive Producer to realise the music programme across the year, including Brighton Festival. There is scope for your ideas and vision to become a reality. You're adept at bringing popular acts/ big name artists from the touring circuit and blending them within a programme that includes curated strands/ one-offs that show off your creative flare, inclusive nature and culturally curious outlook.
You work well with a diverse range of people, with excellent communication skills, who can manage budgets and demonstrate exceptional organisation and administration skills. Knowledge of live music performance is essential; this might be from touring, artist management, venues, progamming, producing, labels. A range of genre experience is welcomed; specialisms and cultural expertise is desirable. We want you to be outgoing, collaborative and to readily use and develop your artistic networks in this role, whilst serving and developing artists and audiences.
We wholeheartedly believe that the arts can change lives and are looking for someone to join us in that aim.
If you do not have all the skills on the JD but are still interested, please contact us for an informal chat at mailto:artisticplanning@brightondome.org - artisticplanning@brightondome.org
Closing date: Thurs 1 Feb 2024
Interviews: week beginning Thurs 8 Feb 2024
