Cornwall Housing is changing. We want to be better.
We’re working hard to transform every area of our business so that we can improve the services we provide to our customers. It’s a big ask and we need talented and determined people to help us achieve our goals. An important part of our improvement involves how we communicate and engage with our residents and other stakeholders. - Coordinate the development of good photographic and video content to support staff, resident and stakeholder communications.
- Create regular digital and traditional communications content in line with the organisation’s brand and tone of voice to enhance reputation and build trust.
- Undertake research internally and externally and interview residents, staff and contractors to develop user focused content to create leaflets, articles, web stories and instructional videos.
- Lead on the development of the content for customer magazine and email newsletters for residents and stakeholders, supported by the Communications Coordinator.
To be successful, you'll be:
- Communications, marketing, or journalism qualification to degree level or equivalent demonstrable experience
- Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of effective communications across multiple channels in a social housing or similar service-related environment
- Understanding the principles and PRactices of Social Housing operations, community support networks and the welfare system
- High IT literacy and experience of using Microsoft Office and other digital content IT systems for presenting and PRoducing information
When you come to work for Cornwall Housing, you are joining an organisation that genuinely appreciates your skills, experience and judgement. We’ll listen to you and take heed of your expert opinions when making changes to our business. Make no mistake, it will be a challenge.
