About this role:

We're looking to hire a Quality Engineer for the Orderpad- Partner Pillar Team who are responsible for the key order flow journey for our Partners

Work within an autonomous cross functional team of exceptional people and collaborate with other teams to improve the design, quality and operation of the menu and basket to have a direct positive impact on our customers.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

• Help the team to improve the test process and automation in an agile environment.
• Coach and mentor team for best test practices.
• Be a leader in ensuring the team collectively takes responsibility for fixing failed tests and issues with the CI/CD infrastructure.
• Become a trusted authority in your team within QA and Automation matters, with a strong evidence-based case for why a release is ready to ship.
• Engineer solid, reliable automated tests that are considered as reliable as production code.
• Ensure that the team has the right level of test coverage for the product, functional and non-functional tests.
• Configure CI to provide the maximum team benefit, balancing coverage and confidence at each stage.

What will you bring to the table?

• Writing automated tests using tools such as Espresso, Robotium, Cypress.io or Appium.io.
• Designing and developing systems for both high availability and scalability.
• Common test automation design patterns.
• REST Web Services and HTTP.
• Test Driven and Behaviour Driven development practices and tools/frameworks.
• Exposure to cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
• Proven experience creating and/or developing testing frameworks that ensure and enhance quality within a CD environment.
• Experience with Android platforms would be a plus.
• Experience with tools like SonarQube, Artillery, Pact, and Postman also a plus.
• Experience with message queues and event-driven services (eg, Amazon SNS/SQS) also a plus.
