My high-profile banking client is currently on the market for a Trade Control Analyst. The role is initially full time in the office due to training and reverts to a Hybrid position on site 3 days a week and 2 days from home, working normal office hours.
The Currency, Commodities & Deriviative Operations (CCDO) team perform end to end Trade Control, confirmation and settlements processes across CCDO businesses and provides utility OTC derivative confirmation and settlement services for non FICC businesses.
Within CCDO, the teams provide multiple services such as CCDO Trade Control, settlement, Over the Counter (OTC) derivative confirmation and settlement, and commodities operations.
The FX Trade Control Team is seeking a Trade Control Analyst to join our growing team
This role supports the Global FX business covering multiple products, and instruments. Full technical training will be provided
Our role is focused on supporting the trading desk, and being responsible for trade validation/ reconciliation, trade amendments, regulatory & management reporting, process and risk improvement and issue resolution.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is intellectually curios, keen to develop, and has a great attention to detail all whilst working in a fast paced, diverse and rapidly evolving environment.
Responsibilities:
* Trade Validation - reconciling trades to ensure trades are booked accurately in the system.
* Performing trade amendments to correct booking errors.
* Investigating and resolving breaks - Working closely with Sales, Trading and Operations to resolve breaks.
* Adhoc Projects involving building requirements, stakeholder engagement, testing and implementation.
* Process Improvements - generating ideas for how to improve efficiency and control, and seeing them through to implementation.
