Group Accountant

Group Accountant | 6 Month FTC | £60-£70k (Pro Rata) | 3 days in the office | Central London Job Description:

IN2 Consult are representing a client based in Central London who are rapidly growing and as a result are looking for a Group Accountant to support the expanding team with a strong chance of either being extended or made permenant. As the Group Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial accounts and statutory account production, assisting with the consolidations and reporting for the multiple entities within the group. Your primary focus will be on ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and providing financial analysis to support business decision-making.

Job Duties:

• Produce the statutory accounts
• Prepare and review financial statements for the group
• Support the consolidation of the various entities
• Budgeting and business partnering
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to senior management

Required Qualifications:

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards

Knowledge and Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
