We are looking for a highly organised and experienced Content Manager to lead our customer-facing content at Oxford Nanopore, this includes the line management of our team of writers, and consultants.
The details…
You will be the primary project manager for content creation (white papers, workflows, case studies, brochures and event material), coordinating all relationships with external creative agencies and internal stakeholders involved. You will champion the nanopore brand, ensuring consistent use internally and across all platforms.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Leading all aspects of the production of marketing content across both digital and offline platforms, ensuring high standards and consistent delivery of content and the Oxford Nanopore brand.
- Leading the content team made up of writers, technical specialists, external consultants and agencies.
- Developing close working relationships with external agencies and internally events, campaigns, sales and technical marketing teams, to ensure requirements are understood and content delivered in a timely manner.
- Ensuring all content crafted furthers the brand voice. Understand the vision and tone of voice of Oxford Nanopore, where the customer is at the heart of our community, and we support the sharing of customer stories by customers.
- Monitoring the content landscape and Oxford Nanopore's content performance to produce quarterly reports with clear recommendations, and coordinate these recommendations being integrated into the content strategy.
- Working with the content and campaigns teams to carry out gap analysis and further research internally to identify required content for marketing campaigns.
- Running the end-to-end process for content production and ensure the whole marketing team are aligned.
- Being responsible for the content management related boards on Monday.com and be the expert overseeing current content, what is in production and retirement of outdated pieces
What we're looking for…
A Bachelor's degree in a related biological sciences field & and ten years marketing content creation and strategy experience, with a track record of producing quality and innovative content.
We're looking for someone with several years experience managing and developing a successful and busy team, alongside external agencies. You'll have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be very comfortable measuring content performance, using a data-driven approach.
