Content Marketing Executive

My client is a leader in their industry, providing products to support their customers through difficult times. They operate both B2B and B2C, and have been caring for their customers for 30 years. Due to changes in the team, we are partnering to recruit the role of Content Marketing Executive on a permanent basis to work hybrid from their offices in West Sussex.
Your new role
As Content Marketing Executive, your primary responsibility is Copywriting for both B2B and B2C audiences, including creating B2B2C Content. You'll be responsible for all content and copy for online and offline channels. You'll write, review and optimise content across the Website, Social Media, Press Opportunities, Email Marketing - and this will include blog posts, customer stories, and event coverage. You'll create website copy, ensuring it is engaging, well-written and SEO-friendly. You will also have sole responsibility for the brand's Social Media; creating and scheduling content to drive traffic to the website and spread the brand's message. You will be writing, designing, and producing compelling email content for lead-generating & communication of important & critical updates, and research & review customer demands, market trends and search engine trends each month to plan interesting and engaging content and feed it into the quarterly content plan.
You'll ideally take the lead in Content Performance - uploading and monitoring the performance of online content, whether it's a blog post, whitepaper or Social Media post. You'll look at ways to learn from Content, amplify its reach and engagement and use data to analyse and improve its performance using tools like Google Analytics and SEMRush. You'll also write the copy for brochures and offline materials, working with Customer Service and Sales Teams to understand and meet customer needs.
What you'll need to succeed
We're looking for applicants who are experienced in Copywriting, or have an interest in specialising in Content and Copywriting. You will be able to demonstrate strong writing skills and give examples of your written Marketing Copy, as well as experience with Content Marketing channels such as web, email or social media. Experience with digital analysis and using tools like Google Analytics would be advantageous, and showing an interest in learning, trying new things and developing. In this role you'll be supported by a great Manager and other marketing specialists, so you'll have the opportunity to grow your skills, but a base level of experience in creating copy and content for different online and offline Marketing channels is required.
What you'll get in return
You'll receive a salary of between £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience, and you'll receive benefits such as a discretionary monthly bonus, pension, standard holidays + an additional day off for your birthday and access to 'buy' additional days of annual leave. You'll work within a supportive environment, with development opportunities and the ability to work hybrid with 2 days home working post-probation.
