ABOUT THE ROLE

Become a blockchain storyteller! As the Content Marketing Intern at the Algorand Foundation, you will be responsible for crafting engaging content that educates a global audience about blockchain technology. You will be tasked with translating complex blockchain concepts into clear, compelling narratives and presenting them in various content formats. This internship is your chance to dive deep into the world of blockchain, develop in-demand Content Marketing skills, and contribute to shaping the future of technology. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the measurable impact of their work at the end of the summer.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write engaging blog posts and website copy that breaks down complex blockchain concepts for various audiences.
• Stay ahead of the curve by researching industry trends, identifying content gaps, and proposing fresh content ideas.
• Assist with optimizing content for search engines to ensure maximum reach and engagement.
• Explore creative content formats like infographics or explainer videos to diversify the content strategy and reach new audiences.
• Work collaboratively with the marketing team to produce content that aligns with the overall marketing strategy.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Strong writing and editing skills
• A passion for blockchain technology and a genuine curiosity to learn and understand more
• Understanding of digital marketing best practices
• Knowledge or experience of SEO
• Capability to efficiently handle multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

TIME INTENSITY & DURATION

• June - August, between 10-12 weeks.

• 20-40 hours per week ideally; part-time is possible

GOOD TO HAVE (OPTIONAL)

• Familiarity with Webflow CMS
• Ability to use graphic design tools, such as Canva
• Experience running your own blog

As part of the application process, you will be asked to share two pieces of your writing. Later, you may be asked for a blockchain-specific writing sample.
