Are you an experienced communicator? We are looking for someone with experience and drive who can help us to deliver effective Internal Communications to the Integrated Data Service (IDS) programme, a complex and large scale cross-government programme run by the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
The ONS is lead delivery partner of the Integrated Data Service (IDS). This service securely enables co-ordinated access to a range of high-quality data – critical to informing policy decisions and improving public services.
The Communications and Digital Publishing Division (CDP) plays a key role in managing the internal and external environment to support the ONS’ transformation and the delivery of the ONS strategy and the IDS. The role of the Senior Internal Communications Manager sits with CDP but is embedded within the IDS programme.
The Internal Communications Content Manager role will be key in delivering internal communication and engagement activities for the IDS, and to all colleagues within the Programme and across the ONS.
Job description
The Internal Communications Content Manager will be responsible for creating high quality content that helps to build engagement with colleagues around our strategy and mission. You will use your technical knowledge to ensure that information is communicated in a clear and open way that drives a shared culture and meets accessibility standards.
The role of the Internal Communications Content Manager will be to produce quality content for the IDS across its own channels as well as the ONS’s internal channels.
The Internal Communications Content Manager will also take an active role in supporting the use of best practice across the programme, working with teams to support them in their delivery.
