The role
We are seeking a talented Content Marketer to join our team and drive our content strategy forward. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a strong understanding of digital marketing channels. From blog posts and social media content to email campaigns and website copy, the Content Marketer will play a crucial role in creating engaging, high-quality content that resonates with our target audience. Managing content plans and strategies across multiple channels on our global calendar, this role is crucial part to our success. The role will report to our brand and marketing director to form part of the REVIV marketing team.
What the job involves
- Content Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with company goals and target audience preferences. Create engaging and relevant content across various platforms, including blog posts, articles, social media posts, videos, infographics, and more.
- Content Implementation and Activation: Manage content distribution channels, including social media platforms, email newsletters, and content syndication partnerships, to maximize reach and engagement. Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices, and propose innovative ideas to enhance our Content Marketing efforts.
- Calendar Management: Manage and collaborate with our regional content agencies to produce global calendars, including content for our franchise partners. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and sales, to create cohesive and compelling content that supports overall marketing initiatives.
- Brand Guidelines and Marketing playbook: Support and collaborate the wider marketing team to build and retain are positioning, messaging and tone.
- Brand compliance: Ensure content is up to date and compliant inline with local regulations, both in a digital and clinical environment. Maintain and update marketing tool kit to ensure products and propositions are compliant both medically and by brand.
- Competitor & Audience Analysis: Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitor strategies, and audience preferences to inform content creation and optimization efforts.
- Performance Management: Optimize content for search engines (SEO) and user experience, leveraging keywords, meta tags, and other best practices. Analyse content performance metrics, such as website traffic, engagement rates, and conversion rates, to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Management and budgets: You will be responsible for the management of our content agencies supporting with regional content shoots and marketing materials, along with resource allocation and effective budgeting to deliver strong ROI
Who you are
- Proven experience in Content Marketing or similar role (4+ years experience) preferably in a B2C, fast paced environment.
- Keen eye for design and have a commercial way of thinking.
- Have experience working for a retail brand in a digital marketing or strategic brand environment.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to create compelling and grammatically correct content for various audiences and formats.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, social media marketing, and email marketing.
- Proficiency in content management systems, marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to translate complex ideas into clear and engaging content.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
