An exciting opportunity to join our team reporting to the Social Media Manager. This role will be focused on increasing our social impact message, brand awareness, engagement and audience growth across all Social Media platforms.First and foremost, we are looking for a brilliant storyteller to curate the longer-term narrative of Sew Ready. Experience and a natural flair for words and creative storytelling is vital for this role.The principles of sewing haven't changed much in over 100 years however with clothing quality, sustainability and ethical practice on the rise, consumers are rediscovering the value in this lost art. Wearing our values is becoming more and more important, yet how can we as consumers be confident our clothes represent us and what we stand for?Drawing on tradition, Sew Ready is a model that gives customers complete transparency and personal accountability over their wardrobes by becoming part of the creative process. Sew Ready is a social enterprise dedicated to upskilling the community. Our vision is to create a successful, inclusive society where every stitch matters and every maker is equally valued.
