Job description
We have an opportunity for you to join us for 6 Months as a Communications Publisher, where you will be working closely to support our Central Operations Manager in preparing and sending communications to the Vets business. You will help support the launch of the Vets Intranet, sharing ideas about the content for the new platform as well as cleansing the current platform.
The content you will you be publishing will already have been written, however as Communication Publisher you will ensure all the information is correct, as well as the look and feel. You ll be looking at around 10-15 pieces of content per week, so a keen eye for detail is essential.
Working closely with different Stakeholders across the Vet Business, including our JVC (Joint Venture Council) & VLT (Vet Leadership Team), you will develop and maintain an accurate view of future planned activity- both events and communications related, whilst performing a gatekeeping role to support the smoothing of the workload for both Partners & field Operations whilst gathering commitment and support through the JVC.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to;
Monitor and manage the general enquiries mailbox for the Vet business. Accountable for content & publishing of all communication to the Vet estate including workload, announcements and loading relevant content onto the Vet Portal/Intranet. Co-ordinate the rota, agenda and follow up notes from meetings Ensure the SLT & JVC are kept fully and regularly briefed on all matters related to communications affecting our Practice Owners, and Practices. Support the evolvement, editing and signing off of communications to be published, including, News Flashes, Announcements, and any other items as required. Work with departments to ensure feeds are regularly updated and content refreshed. Maintain the activity plan for Vets for Pets & support Central Operations Manager to protect Practice colleagues time and prevent overloading on activity/tasks. Work alongside the JVC, supporting areas of focus & forward planning for JVC meetings and newsletters. About You
If you re looking to further develop your current skills, this is a fantastic opportunity to let your creativity flow. As information can change quickly, you will need to be able to think on your feet for any last-minute changes of content. You should be familiar working in Teams and SharePoint. You will be excellent at communicating to Stakeholders, who will include Regional Directors, People Partners, and Practice Owners to name a few, and be confident liaising with your Stakeholders to obtain any information needed. You will have excellent time management skills, and happy to plan and prioritise your work load.
