Your Role
You’ll have the chance to work closely with Partners and be involved in high-profile commercial developments and disputes, working on projects all across the country and abroad.
The team are known for their work in the real estate sector, specifically working on construction and engineering projects, as well as advising on procurement law.
Some of the things the firm have done recently:
- Re-cladding projects - dealing with government on funding and setting up projects for owners of portfolios of tall residential buildings
- One of the country’s largest M&E contractors - advising on projects and acting on disputes
- Private developer - working on the construction documents for a new residential development in the Midlands
- Developer - preparing the documentation for a forward-funded retail distribution project
- Contractor - negotiating contracts for the installation of a CHP plant
- Developer - preparing and negotiating construction documents for a mixed use, residential and retail development
About You
- Experience of Contentious Construction work and (ideally but not essential) non-contentious work
- An ability to work on own initiative but also as a supportive team player, working as part of a national construction team
- The confidence to hit the ground running
